1. Basic introduction

While adventuring, every player has the chance to obtain awesome gear, gems and other good items. Players can use the materials they obtain to improve their weapons and armor.

2 Refining Types

1). Upgrading a gear's rank through tradeskill:

The rank of weapons and armor affects the influence of the weapon and armor. Weapons and armor are divided into several levels according to their influence. Weapons and armor of the same level are then further divided into 9 ranks. The higher the rank of the gear, the more influential the gear is.

2). Attach rare attributes to gear through tradeskill:

The rare attributes of a gear affect the gear's power and influence. Generally speaking, the more rare attributes a gear has, the more influential the gear is. But the potential of the rare attributes of a gear determines the maximum number of rare attributes it can have. (For example: X/Y, with X representing the current rare attributes the gear has, and Y representing the maximum number of rare attributes the gear can have.) You can attach rare attributes to gear through tradeskill.

3). Create tradeskill materials:

Not all tradeskill materials can be obtained through fighting or by doing quests. Some senior tradeskill materials can only be created through tradeskills.

4). Create special armor sets through tradeskill:

The armor sets we call special armor sets are those possessing special attributes. Players can create or gather tradeskill materials and create unique special armor sets.

5). Create epic armor:

If you have an epic armor set equipped, you could be very powerful. In the game, players can gather rare materials and create their own epic armor set.

3 Tradeskill Steps

Tradeskill steps are as follows:

Step 1: Left click the tradeskill icon in the Function Bar on the interface  . Or press the shortcut key 'U' on the keyboard to open the tradeskill list..
Step 2: Click to choose tradeskill types and attributes or the rank of the item you want to improve.

 
Step 3: All materials needed for a tradeskill will be listed in the tradeskill box that pops up.

 
Step 4: If players already have the materials needed in their bags, a tradeskill material list will remind players. If players don't have the needed materials, they can purchase them from the Warehouse Rookie.

Step 5: Drag materials into the corresponding places in the tradeskill box. Input the amount of the tradeskill material into the edit box.

 
Step 6: Click the 'tradeskill' button to carry out tradeskill.

 
Step 7: When the yellow bar reaches the node for opening the furnace, click 'open furnace' to complete the refining process. If the refining is succeessful, a system prompt 'XX are improved' will pop up.

4. Obtain Materials

In order to let every player have the chance to get a good weapon, armor or trinket through tradeskills, the game offers players many ways to obtain tradeskill materials:

1. Obtain materials by killing mobs

2. Obtain materials through completion of quests or participating in activities.

3. Obtain materials through tradeskills.

4. Purchase tradeskill materials through an NPC (Warehouse Rookie).

5. Matters that need attention

 1. When players are using a tradeskill, no other operations can be performed. If players move, the refining process will be cancelled.

 2. Raw materials for refining: If the refining fails, all materials will disappear.

 3. Weapons and armor refining: If the refining fails, all materials and Silver will disappear. The rank of the weapon and armor will also be reduced.

A. rank 0-3 gears will be unchanged

B. rank 4-6 gears will be reduced by 1 rank

C. rank 7-9 gears will be reduced to rank 0.

 4. Attribute refining: If refining fails, all materials will disappear.

 5. Players should pay the refining fees according to the refining types and materials.

 6. Batch quantity refining: Input the amount of materials required for the tradeskill before stating a batch quantity refining.

6. Tradeskill Formation

Players can invite their teammates to help when carrying out a tradeskill. Each teammate involved in it will add an additional 2% success rate.

Step 1: After beginning to use a tradeskill, the four “Formation Positions” will appear.

Step 2: Teammates can click on “Formation Position” to help increase the success rate of the refining. One Formation Position can only contain one player. But if the helper moves or casts a spell during the process, they will no longer be involved in helping increase the success rate of the refining.

Step 3: The formation launcher and helpers are not protected, especially for refining. When the preparatory period of refining runs out, the Formation Positions vanish.

Step 4: After the time for refining is up, the player must click “Open Furnace” to complete the refining and the formation will vanish.
